1978 hat das SO36 das erste Mal die Türen geöffnet und ist seitdem ein Ort für krasse Musik, linksradikale Politik, für Punks, Hippies, Hedonisten, Homos, Heteros und andere!
Aber seit einigen Jahren dreht sich die Preisspirale in Berlin, Mediaspree, Immobilienspekulation, Verdrängung gehören mittlerweile zum Alltag. Das macht auch vor dem SO36 keinen Halt.
Auch wir müssen Getränke und Eintrittspreise erhöhen um faire Löhne und Gagen zahlen zu können und mit den steigenden Mieten und Nebenkosten umzugehen. Pandemie und Inflation spitzen die Situation zu!
Aber das passt uns nicht!
Unseren Geburtstag wollen wir dafür nutzen gemeinsam für den Erhalt bezahlbarer Kultur zu demonstrieren! Für Orte, die bezahlbar bleiben. Fun auch für Leute mit wenig Kohle.
Von 18 Uhr bis 22 Uhr findet eine Kundgebung vor dem SO36 statt mit Redebeiträgen, Getränken und Konzerten von Sedlmeir, Anti Corpos, dem Rattenchor und Neulaerm
Wir fordern den Erhalt bezahlbarer Kultur, wir fordern Stop Gentrification!
Gleichzeitig findet im Salon 36 eine Ausstellung von Montecruz Foto aus den letzten 2 Jahrzehnten SO36 statt!
Und ab 22 Uhr stoßen wir dann gemeinsam im SO36 an! Auf 44 Jahre SO36 – 44 Jahre gemein und nützlich.

In 1978 SO36 opened its doors for the first time and since then it has been a place for crass music, radical left-wing politics, for punks, hippies, hedonists, homos, heteros and others!
But for some years now the price spiral in Berlin has been turning, Mediaspree, real estate speculation, displacement are now part of everyday life. This doesn't stop at SO36.
We like others have to increase prices for drinks and entrance in order to pay fair wages and fees and to deal with the rising rents and additional costs. Pandemic and inflation are bringing the situation to a head!
But this does not suit us!
We want to use our birthday to demonstrate together for the preservation of affordable culture! For places that remain affordable. Fun also for people with little money.
From 6 pm to 10 pm there will be a rally in front of SO36 with speeches, drinks and concerts by Anti Corpos, the Rattenchor, Sedlmeir and many more!
We demand the preservation of affordable culture, we demand Stop Gentrification!
At the same time there will be an exhibition of Montecruz photo from the last 2 decades SO36 in Salon 36!
And from 10 pm we will raise a toast together in SO36! To 44 years of SO36 - 44 years of being "mean and useful".
