Once upon a time, a couple of Queens arrived in Berlin and started a House. To be specific, in 2018, you fav QT*BIPOC refugee collective started to gather to bring some queer magic into the Berlin club scene. For you we have prepared a fairy tale show full of dance, drag and color and we warmly invite all of you Quings and Queens to celebrate life and pride with us. Join us for the Ball on 19th  February  in SO36.

We love to share and tell stories and the story of choice will be Cindarella – but be assured, we will do it our way. To celebrate our story of community with you, we prepared a non-classical and very special drag show you won’t forget.

Needless to say, Cindarella in our case is not white as we are manipulated to think by white media and film productions. Obviously, she will also not be cis nor straight and for this reason she will not lose a shoe, but a wig on the ball which will not be thrown for boring upper class straight princes and princesses.

Our performers will spoil you with Oriental and twerking Dance, Burlesque and Bollywood performances, Drag Shows and music:

Keil comes from a society where men don't and shouldn't express emotions, so she chose writing & singing to express herself.

She became bestfriends with paper & pen as she was 15, and started her song-writing journey.

She was always interested in playing with her gender. The first time she put make up on, was to cover a bruise on her eye from her dad, using her mom's concealer, thanks mom, dad and society, I'm a drag performer now.

Shayma Al Queer a Tunisian non-binary queer refugee activist, Drag entertainer Hostess and DJ.Shayma moved end 2017 in Germany and Based since in Heidelberg, There she hosts her own Drag contest where she offers the stage of Unheilbar to various of uprising talents to explore the Drag artistry, The queen of Heildelberg also hosts a drag Bingo game where she as well play sets of Queer disco house music as well as techno sets Shayma is also a Queer refugee advocate, at the end of 2020 She managed to raise ten thousand euros to organize a 3 day conference for LGBTIQ+ refugees and by LGBTIQ+

Suryani

Suryani is making her performance debut with the Black & Brown Cabaret Show. Since she arrived in Berlin a few years ago, she has helped many other trans refugee and asylum-seeking women from Malaysia, like herself. Her support did not end by helping them with paperwork and guidance: she was also a backup dancer for her friends. Today, as part of Prince Emrah's support for up-and-coming artists on her shows, we are lucky and beyond excited to have Suryani's first solo show in the 2021 edition of the Black & Brown Cabaret Show!

Prince Emrah 

@prince_emrah_1203 (pronouns she/he) is a professional belly dancer, a dance trainer, a beauty&wellness student, a make-up artist, a DJ, and an occasional drag queen based in Berlin. A few years ago, she arrived in Berlin as a refugee from Turkmenistan and is of Kurdish&Azerbaijan descent. Since then, he has built an impressive artistic career in Berlin's performance art scene and beyond. Emrah is the mother of an artist collective called "House of Royals," (Queerberg collective)which provides a space for BIPOC LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and refugees from countries such as Syria, Palestine, Malaysia, Libya, and the like.
